- How do I join?
Purchase ownership rights in the boats ownership offer of $1 500. Choose your preferred Management Package (from $12 000-$24 000). Complete boat familiarisation course.

What Details do you need to know about me?
We need to know your basic personal details like name and address, of course. We also need a copy of your boat driver's license and some information about your boating history.If you do not have a licence then we are able to help you and provide you with personal training.

How much will it cost me?
You can choose the level of management you prefer? The higher the level you choose, the more value for money you get. The management packages are valid for 2 years. Back to Top

Are there any additional costs or hidden charges?
No. Once you have purchased your ownership righs and management package there are no other charges to use the boats other than the cost of fuel, which is charged, on an engine hour basis and training which is charged on an $75 hourly rate basis. You are fully insured and covered by Anchorage Marine Underwriting agency Pty Ltd, but you should read the terms of the insurance carefully as there are a number of conditions and exclusions, as well as an excess ($1500) you must pay if you have any claims. - How can I pay?
We accept cash, personal or bank cheques or credit card payment, although there is an administration charge if you choose to pay by credit card.

- Am I fully insured?
Yes, you are fully insured under each boats insurance policy, but you should read the terms of the insurance carefully as there are a number of conditions and exclusions, as well as excess you must pay ($1500) if you have any claims. Talk to us if you want more details about these.

- How do the Management Packages work?
You choose the Management Package that suits you (Silver, Gold or Platinum) and you receive a certain number of Points. You use these Points to take out the boats. The number of Points you need to use depends on the boat you choose, the day(s) you want to use it, and the season. Use the easy Points Calculator to see just how many Points each boat requires. If you have a range of outings both weekends and weekdays throughout the year, you should get approx. 15 - 25 outings on a Silver package and up to 55 outings on a Platinum package.

- How do I book the Boats?
Owners may book online or by phoning or emailing. Bookings are on first come first serve basis.

- Can I introduce friends to Blue Sky Boating?
Our business is based upon referrals. You can take advantage of our referral bonus points program. If you are an owner and you refer a friend who also becomes an owner you each receive a bonus of 100 points. It is a great way to have fun with your friends, get more time out boating and ensure that your friends get a great deal at Blue Sky.

Can I let others drive the Boats?
Yes, assuming that the other driver has a current NSW boat drivers license. You as the owner remain responsible for the boat and passengers in accordance with NSW boat licensing laws.

- Do I have to purchase ownership rights to use the Boats?
Yes, you are not able to hire these types of boats anywhere in Sydney.

- Is there a limit on how far I can take the Boats?
Yes. These boats are available within the sheltered waters of Sydney Harbour and Pittwater/Hawkesbury. The limit lines for sheltered waters are shown on chart maps in each boat.

- What happens if I break down?
It happens. We are only a phone call away and will arrange assistance immediately. Mobile phone coverage within Sydney Harbour is almost 100% Pittwater/Hawkesbury may have some areas with low signal.

- Will you be changing the fleet?
Yes, we will rotate the fleet to bring in different boats based on what the owners want - you will be regularly asked to give us your preferences to help us buy just what you want to drive.
